FAQ

Short answers. The pages in the menu have the detail.

Does OnWallet hold my money?
No. Your keys are made and kept on your device, encrypted with your password. OnWallet cannot move your funds.
Does OnWallet support XRP?
Yes. OnWallet is a wallet for the XRP Ledger: it holds, sends and receives XRP, RLUSD and any other token issued on the XRP Ledger. It supports no other blockchain.
Do I have to write down a seed phrase?
You do not have to manage one. Once your wallet is protected with OnWallet ID, your sign-in, your authenticator app and your way back (a Google Drive backup, a Recovery Kit, or in Chrome and Edge a recovery passkey) restore it. Your 24 words still exist and you can export them from Settings.
I lost my computer.
Install OnWallet on another device and choose to recover. If another of your browsers still has OnWallet, approve the new one there, with no wait. Otherwise sign in and use your Google Drive backup, Recovery Kit or (in Chrome and Edge) recovery passkey: the wallet is back after a 72-hour safety wait.
Can I use a recovery passkey in Firefox?
Not yet. Recovery passkeys work in OnWallet for Chrome and Edge. Firefox does not let an extension make a passkey of its own, so in Firefox protect your wallet with a Google Drive backup or a Recovery Kit.
I forgot my password.
The password unlocks the wallet on this device. Remove the wallet in Settings, then recover it with your sign-in and your way back (after the 72-hour wait, or at once by approval from another browser), or import it with your 24 words, and choose a new password.
I lost my Recovery Kit.
While your wallet still opens, make a new one from Settings. The old kit stops working once the new one is checked.
Someone asked me for a code.
It is not OnWallet. OnWallet never asks for codes on a website. Type email and authenticator codes only inside the extension. OnWallet never asks for your codes, your recovery code or your Recovery Kit on a website, by email or by message.
Why can I not send all my XRP?
The XRP Ledger locks 1 XRP in every account and 0.2 XRP for every token it holds. The wallet shows this as Locked for account reserve.
Why am I warned about a token called RLUSD?
Because its issuer is not Ripple. Anyone can issue a token with any name. The wallet asks you to confirm that you know it is a different token.
A payment did not arrive at an exchange.
Check the destination tag. Exchanges need the right tag to know the payment is yours. If it is missing or wrong, contact the exchange with the transaction link from Activity.
Can a payment be cancelled?
No. Once the ledger validates a payment, it is final. A payment that expired before validation was never made.
Does it work on my phone?
No. OnWallet is a desktop browser extension, for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Its store listings are not public yet.
Can an AI agent use my wallet?
Never your main wallet. An agent pays only from a separate agent wallet you fund, within limits you set, and you approve each payment; you can lose at most what you put in it. Connecting AI apps is not available right now.
Who runs OnWallet?
OpenApps, the trading name of Elevated Spaces Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, makes the extension and runs this site and OnWallet ID. Questions go to support@onwallet.si, security reports to security@onwallet.si.
